June is National Microchipping Month

It's a sad fact of life that pets escape or are stolen and unfortunately, we can never be certain of their safe return.

One thing we can do to help towards them coming home again is to have them microchipped.

In April 2016, it will become law for ALL dogs to have a microchip.

As part of National Microchip Month, AlphaPet have permanently reduced all microchip prices.

So if your pet does not have one already, what better reason do you need?

Any animal can be microchipped, regardless of age or breed.

It's a very simple procedure that takes as long as a routine vaccination. For most animals, the chip is implanted into the scruff of the neck. The chip is not much bigger than a grain of rice. It contains a unique 15 digit code for your pet and it's there for life!

There are various types of microchip available. AlphaPet can advise you on which one is best for your pet.

So pick up the phone and call us today and get your pet booked in!

If your pet is already microchipped, make sure you check that their details are correct on the national database. If you move house or your contact numbers change, please remember to let us know too.
