The AlphaPet Charity Animal Fun Day & Dog Show 2016

The AlphaPet Charity Animal Fun Day & Dog Show 2016

The annual AlphaPet Charity Animal Fun Day and Dog Show will be taking place on Sunday 14th August 2016 on the Queens Field next to our West Meads clinic.
It's our 7th show and its gets bigger and better each year!
This is a great family fun day out and at the same time, raises money for two very worthy animal charities. This year, all proceeds will be going to Guide Dogs and Catastrophes Cat Rescue.
Last year we raised a grand total of £2760 and so this year we would very much like to smash that total and raise even more. We can only do this with your support and kind donations.

So what can you expect to see at this years' show? Well obviously the main event is the dog show itself. Registration for the classes will open at 11.30am and each class you enter your dog into will cost you £1.50.
The classes are:
Best Puppy (under 1 year old)
Best Veteran (over 7 years old)
Prettiest Bitch
Handsomest Dog
Most Appealing Eyes
Waggiest Tail
Dog Most Like Owner (Fancy dress optional)
Best In Show

There will be Doggy activities and Fun Games to include Musical Sits, Fastest recall, Temptation Alley, Gundog Scurry and a Doggy Lucky Dip!
We will also be having some demonstrations from Sussex County Dog Training.

As you wander round the show, there will be many other charity stalls, second hand pet accessories, Tombola's, bouncy castle and other fun activities for the children. Our staff will also be available on the AlphaPet stand to answer your questions on a range of topics.

You won't go hungry either. We've got Fish 'n' Chips, Burgers and Hot Dogs and Pinks Vintage Ice cream and not forgetting our very own homemade cake stall. Our staff are not just good with animals, they also don their aprons and whip up some yummy cakes in the kitchen too!

Finally, we'll have a whole host of animals in our pets corner varying from the furry, to the feathered to the scaly!

So why not come along and join in the fun. We look forward to seeing you! :)
