24-Hour Emergency Service

This service is manned by Vets Now Portsmouth.

For emergencies out of normal hours, please call 02392 178098

Nurse Clinics

Our nursing team runs various clinics, such as Dental Clinics, Weight Clinics, Senior Pet Clinics and Tortoise Clinics.

They are also able to carry out suture removals, claw clipping, microchipping and routine post-operative checks.

Like their human equivalents, our qualified nurses also carry out a number of minor surgical procedures as well as many non-surgical procedures such as radiographs and electrocardiographs.

Vaccinations

We provide a full range of vaccinations for all dogs, cats and rabbits, together with appropriate advice. We provide vaccinations on an individual risk basis to make sure that we do not vaccinate unnecessarily. Click on the links to see more details for particular species.

We also provide a full microchip identification, vaccination and advice service for PETS Travel Scheme to allow you and your pet to travel abroad safely. Speak to one of our vets for more information.

Professional Dietary Advice

As veterinary surgeons, we have the training and depth of knowledge to provide expert professional advice on how to feed your pet properly to ensure they live a long and healthy life. Whether it be our qualified nurses or our veterinary surgeons, the advice you receive from us will be the best and most up to date.

Wildlife Care and Advice

AlphaPet provides veterinary advice to Brent Lodge Wildlife Trust and to members of the public FREE OF CHARGE. Whether it be a wood pigeon, a common gull or a grey seal, a badger or a dolphin, we are happy to deal with all these animals and hopefully return them back to the wild when they are fit and well again.
